Elgin St Garden Design
Client: Jacqui Vaughn & Craig Kells
The house and pool were disconnected with a patchy, slippery bowl of lawn in between with DIY decks in need of replacement. The solution was to create generous entertaining areas accessed from the house and stepped platforms floating above the garden to the new pool area pulling everything together. This formed an easy transition in and around the garden. The original stand of bananas and a cabbage tree were kept and layers of native and sub-tropical planting with feature plants, leaf colour and texture were added to provide a lush and private oasis resulting in a resort look and feel. A truly immersive experience in a central city garden.
“From Donnas very first visit, we found her to be easy to understand and full of great vision and expertise, knowledge of planting, lighting and a total feel for what a family desire from their space. I would recommend Seed Landscapes without any hesitation and truly stand amazed at the transformation of our much treasured home.”
